1. World Diabetes Day Walkathon 2014 – Kolkata
Organized by RSSDI WB Chapter, this is the oldest and probably the largest walkathon to be held on occasion of WDD in Kolkata. Here are the programme details-
Flag off : 09:00 am. Termination : Command Hospital, Alipore. Patients, school children, industry personnel, physicians, members of many NGO expected to join.

2. Dastkar Nature Bazaar – Delhi
Dastkar Nature Bazaar 2014 is all set to showcase more than 120 crafts groups from around the country. The theme of this years fair is Cow. So you can find on display lots of products associated with the cow like herbal and natural beauty products, Kutchi copper-coated bells, Eri silk textiles dyed with cow dung from Assam, and innovative depictions of the Mother Cow in varied crafts.

3. Workshop: Violence Against Children – Bangalore
M S Ramaiah Medical College and Hospitals, is organising a one-day workshop on 19th Nov from 10 30 am onwards to focus on the issue of violence against children, esp in the background of recent assaults on kids in Bangalore schools. School Managements, teachers, NGOs working on childrens issues, police personnel, forensic experts, psychiatrists will be the participants.

4. Prithvi Theatre Festival – Mumbai
The annual celebration of the theatre fraternity that is held at Prithvi Theatre was started in the year 1983. This year you can expect fresh set of plays, live music, stage acts by budding actors and a larger than life indoor circus. Stage Talk at Prithvi features eminent theatre personalities such as Om Puri, Shernaz Patel, Kumud Mishra, Rohini Hattangadi, Paresh Rawal.

5. Sambhav 2014 – Delhi
The festival is planned to celebrate and show case holistic development and inclusive growth of artists with disability in the society. It is planned to be a unique demonstration of the ‘will to succeed’ irrespective of the region and culture they belong. It is an attempt to establish global synergy for serving the humankind.
